Bharat Forge Limited

Bharat Forge Limited (BFL), the flagship company of the USD 2.4 billion Kalyani Group, manufactures various forged and machined components for the automotive and non-automotive sector & is today among the largest and technologically most advanced manufacturer of Forged & Machined components. As one of India's emerging multinationals, we offered our services to this company to improve their outdoor lighting standards which were below 10 Lumens in many areas with uniformity below 20% as against industry standards of 40% with harsh yellow light texture. After redesigning of their outdoor lighting today, we have achieved average 45 lumens in all the areas and uniformity above 45% with eye pleasing white light texture. The changes were noticeable; hence we were offered another challenging project to redesign their workshop lighting for project in Pune & upcoming project in Baramati spread over an area of 200 acres. For this project we offered them blended solution with twin optics using High pressure sodium vapor lamp & Metal halide lamp incorporated in same fitting. In addition to these changes we also targeted to achieve 25% energy saving against their old conventional lighting design. The result of this new design is also well appreciated & today we have achieved a status of most preferred Electrical contracting company for all their upcoming projects.

Accenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. We are proud to say that we have executed electrical works for all their facilities in Mumbai & Pune till the date. We have worked with different team of Architects & Electrical consultants for their projects. Because of very demanding ACCENTURE project team we received an opportunity to work with an Architect firm CR NARAYAN RAO practicing since 1945. The firm & its partners are recipient of awards like 'Jawaharlal Nehru Gold Medal', the Indian Institute of Architects award for 'Excellence in Design 1995', 'Architect of the Year Award – 1996, & 'Intelligent Building of the Year 2005'. The firm motivated us to create "a built environment" of lasting impact. Our relationship with Accenture is more than 7 year old now and it is still going. We have completed interior electrical projects with various project team more than 10,00,000 sft. of area. ETH Ltd.

The first centre of ETH located in Pune, under the leadership of Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, who developed PARAM Series of Supercomputer, GIST Multilingual Technology & Divinet's Multi-play Broadband Technology in India. He was also recipient of Padmashri, Maharashtra Bhushan Awards, Data Quest Life Time Award for Contribution to Science & Technology & H. K. Firodia Life Time Award for Contribution to Science. We received a great opportunity to interact with Dr. Bhatkar to create India's first ISP center (Internet Service Provider) using multiple servers at one location. The facility required 24/7 critical applications of power backups with multiple air conditioners. We planned & executed all type of Electrical works with meticulous planning of DG set (considering harmonics of various equipments), multiple UPS units in load sharing & synchronized mode and critical Earth system requirements for various equipments & static voltages.

DYWIDAG India is a 100% subsidiary of DYWIDAG International GmbH a German construction company successfully operating worldwide since 1891, with many pioneering technologies to its credit. In its 12 years of continuous operations in India, DYWIDAG has successfully completed various highly complex projects which among others include the sub-sea sewage tunnels in Mumbai and leadership of IMCC, the JV (comprising of large Indian & International construction companies), which built the underground section of the Delhi Metro from ISBT to Central Secretariat. WNS Global Services is a recognized leader in business process outsourcing (BPO). They serve several industries, including travel, insurance, financial services, healthcare, professional services, manufacturing, distribution and retail. For this client we got an opportunity to work with a team of Architect named Metaphors who allowed us to study the project parameters thoroughly, taking cognizance of diverse factors as location, topography, climatic factors, traffic flow, utilities, infrastructures & communications systems, securities & safety standards, HVAC, & networking requirements. With the information acquired from the study we worked out all the shop drawings in detail & executed the projects within committed timelines & budgetary boundaries. We have executed all types of Electrical works for all WNS facilities in Mumbai & Pune spread over more than 300,000 sft. area with the same team of Architect & consultants.

Hind Terminals Ltd.

HIND TERMINALS under a Strategic Alliance Agreement wi th Cent ral Warehousing Corporation (CWC) on long term basis has under taken the development and management of the CFS. The facility is located at around 15 kms from JNPT Port. The facility is being developed in 2 phases and total plan of 30 Hectare is fully developed with complete operations from 3rd May 2007. This facility is one of the largest private sector facility at JNPT and also the only private sector facility which would have a rail siding. We have completed this project including planning & execution of High Mast Lighting, street lighting & flood lighting for entire plot, lighting & power wiring for 2 warehouses of 25000 sft & 36500 sft, Critical wiring with DG Backup for 25 sets of Reefer containers, power sub-station & DG Backup for critical load for entire project.

Crest Animation Studio Ltd.

At this facility Dual processor CPU used for each desk is located in separate Machine room as against on Work Desk in any normal IT setup. The VGA cable for monitors, cables for mouse & keyboard are laid through specially designed open able under floor raceways. Crest's storage server – with an aggregate throughput of 1.5 GB ps – is the "Worlds Largest Poly serve based EFS Cluster of HP" and the performance of the storage server can be increased across the years of expansion .Crest's central technological nervous system is a Giga Network. They were the first to implement Foundry-based 10 Gig in the country during the initial launch of 10Gig in the global market. After completion of this state of the art IT set up in India CREST bagged prestigious awards like Nasscom India IT user award 2006 & Maharashtra IT Award 07 for its outstanding deployment of technology in the media and entertainment space. Based on this experience we have worked with another leading Indian studio PIXION (a 100% subsidiary of Century Communications Ltd.) has shared with AnimationXpress.com that set up a Green Field facility at Chennai. The studio acquired a staggering 50,000 sq feet of prime space in Chennai and has the capacity to house more than 1000 artists. The Chennai facility is capable of handling local animation projects including Pre Production and IPR, R&D and testing facility for Media and also handles international outsourced animation work (from concept, pre production, and production to Post Production). We have done entire electrical work with special attention for controlling lighting levels in each production studio from 30 Lumens to 400 Lumens using automatic devices like dimmable ballast & controllers.

The project involved the conversion of an old FILM PRODUCTION STUDIO into a world class Research & Development Centre for Chemical manufacturing company. We were involved in studying electrical requirement of each of their department like laboratories, storage spaces, IT rooms, analytical record rooms & back office and provided the Client with best possible electrical infrastructure using available technology. On this project we worked with project architects The Group Seven Architects & Planners Pvt. Ltd. who had two decades of experience of executing multidisciplinary projects. They designed this project with good craftsmanship and generous use of colors and forms, which not only turned out to be cost effective but more importantly user-friendly.

Manufacturers & exporter of diamond studded real gold jewelry having their factory at SEEPZ (an export zone in Mumbai, India). We involved ourselves to plan the electrical schemes & specifications for this project by studying their various manufacturing process like Hand made, Cast, Die Struck, and Gold filled & plated & various departments like Waxing, Casting, Furnace, Filing, Setting, polishing & refinery etc. Each department had specific light & power arrangements which can not be planned as standard practices. Every area required detail engineering in terms of fixing & maintaining safety of each equipment as well as worker. The detailing worked out by us considered as industry standard & based on this project experience we executed ten more projects in the same SEEPZ complex.

Prince Aly Khan Hospital-Mumbai

Established in 1945, the Prince Aly Khan Hospital is a 137-bed acute care, multispecialty facility offering quality health care. The Prince Aly Khan Hospital is equipped with a three-room operation theatre complex, an intensive care unit, an intensive cardiac care unit, a neonatal ICU, a renal dialysis unit and state of the art facilities in every department. The revamping of this hospital project is very dear to our heart as the management of this hospital was offering their services to the patients with sense of humanity & was interested in improving their service standard further. The budgets were tight & we were required to work with maximum care as the hospital services were not closed for renovation. We executed revamping activities of each area with best possible effort to give no discomfort to the patients & the hospital staff. Each electrical work activity was executed with almost lightning speed & accuracy by maintaining safety and cleanliness standard required in hospital. The Hospital was awarded the ISO 9002 (International Standardization Organization) certificate - perhaps the only one in Mumbai and Maharashtra to have such certification. This certification is awarded only when a hospital's clinical, diagnostic, and administrative and support services conform to the ISO standards.

Centurion Bank of Punjab Ltd has a nationwide network of 240 branches and extension counters and 388 ATMs. The bank offers a wide spectrum of retail, SME and corporate banking products and services. On this project we worked with a young Architect firm AA PATEL & ASSOCIATES. The firm's vision is to achieve excellence in the field of interiors with designs that appeal to the aesthetic senses and create an ambience conducive to performance and comfort. We worked with them as a team to achieve their demand of offering client best possible electrical work, within the time frame & budget. Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC).

The centre is ideally situated along the Western Express Highway in Goregaon, Mumbai. The project required us to remove their existing old high tension infrastructure & replace with new generation HT & LT infrastructure to assure them reliability of continuity of power when international exhibitions are held. We have executed complete High Tension side of Electrical Distribution network totaling to 8500 KVA including installation of HT switchgear, Transformers, LT switchgear, HT & LT cabling & HT metering at multiple locations. Today, BEC is the largest in the private sector in India that plays a pivotal role in further enhancing the reputation of Mumbai as an international convention city.

Reliance Adlabs Group

BIG 92.7 FM is not just a big brand of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, but a big station as well. With an investment of Rs. 400 crore dedicated to Transmission Equipment, Infrastructure and licensing, the proposed network probably is the largest ever. The IP protocol technology being utilized for BIG 92.7 FM has been sourced from AXIA, USA making this station amongst the first to utilize such superior gear in Asia. We have executed all types of electrical works for their first & largest Studio in Mumbai & support studio in Navi Mumbai. The project team members appreciated our ability to deliver project within the stipulated budget, time & the desired quality. Kelkar Education Trust's Scientific Research Center

This was quite unique project for us as we were working with Scientists who understood only about Bio-technology & plants with vision for creating India's first scientific Reserch Center in Bio-technology. Today, this project has sterile growth room facility for micro & clonal propagation of elite medicinal & aromatic plants with production capacity of 2 lacs per year with research laboratory for media preparation & hardening. The Green house facility of 300 square meters has automatic temperature & humidity control for propagation of tissue culture raised clonal plants. works for their other Group companies like Reliance Communication Ltd., Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd., Big Adda, Big TV, Big Flix & Big Studio, Big Broadcasting etc. which required more & more technical expertise & involvement in the project of an Electrical contracting company.

Whistling Woods International Ltd.

The Whistling Woods International Institute is Asia's largest Film, Television, Animation and Media Arts located in Film City, in Mumbai occupying 10 Acres of Land & approximately 300,000 sft built up space. WWI is promoted by Mr. Subhash Ghai, of M/s. Mukta Arts Ltd. When the facility was being planned, the MSEB, only electricity service provider in the area informed us that they can not offer more KW for operating the facility as they had restriction on the infrastructure provided by them. They offered WWI dual tariff if they can restrict the peak load. With this unique problem the WWI worked out a solution of thermal energy storage technology for chillers considering the major chunk of load of Air conditioning system. The greatest benefit achieved with thermal storage was the ability to produce more kWh from fewer kW of operating capacity.
